I found these pictures from when Marshall and Amanda visited. They are too cute not to post! I love watching Kensie interact and play with friends. Something about little people interacting is adorable. Kensie loves making new friends. She and Brielle are only weeks apart. Their personalities were similar and I think they even look a little bit alike.

Washington Trip
Kensie and I took a trip to Washington in June to visit my family. On the way there she got her own seat and was really well behaved (thanks to my bag full of tricks!). She was completely amused we were on an airplane and loved looking out the window.
When we arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's house she was so excited! She went around running from room to room while shouting with excitement. It didn't take her long to find the rocking horse.Kensie liked playing outside in the rocks and dirt and having so much room to run around and play at my paren'ts place.
She went on her first tractor ride with Grandpa. First she was apprehensive about getting on the tractor but once inside she was completely amused.
She absolutely loved Grandpa. Every time he came home from work Kensie got really excited. Anything Grandpa did or said made her laugh.
We went to the Bird's lake house at Billy Clap Lake. Before dinner we went on a boat ride.
Lori and Brent's family came to Grandma and Grandpa's house while we were there also.
Kensie, Grandma, and I spent the night at Lori and David's house in Tri-Cities before heading home. My mom, sister, and I were able to go shopping without kids for a few hours. It was so fun! Sunday we went to church with the Bowers and then headed home. The plane ride home was awful and Kensie screamed for a long time.
It was such a fun trip! I always look forward to going home in the summer to visit my family and escape the Vegas heat.

Lake Mead
We went boating with our friends the Finlinson's at Lake Mead. It was my first time going to Lake Mead and I loved it! It was also Kensie's first time going on a boat since she was a little baby so I wasn't sure how she would do but she loved it too! Five minutes into the boat ride she fell asleep. We found a cove, anchored the boat down, and went swimming. Kensie even got in the water for a swim! Niel and I both went tubing.
She fell asleep in this position about two minutes after this picture was taken.
It was such a fun day we didn't want it to end. Being out in the hot sun and boating all day completely wiped us out. We had a dinner and movie date night planned but ended up just going to dinner because we were so worn out!
The Twins' Blessing
In June Kensie and I made our first road trip together. We went to Utah for my twin nephew's baby blessing. Kensie was pretty good in the car but overall the trip was exhausting doing it by myself. But, I'm so glad we were able to finally meet the adorable little twins! I wouldn't have missed it for anything.
We had a picnic lunch with Niel's family in Orem.
Had dinner and ice cream at Thanksgiving point with my family. We went swimming at the hotel pool everyone stayed at.On Sunday, my brother Brannen blessed his twin boys Luke and Landon. It's so amazing to watch my brother and his wife with their six adorable boys. They are such great parents.
Proud Grandmas
I could only manage holding one twin at a time! Sadly, I didn't get any pictures on my phone of the proud parents with the twins. I was busy taking pictures with their camera!
Kensie is still completely infatuated with babies.
Memorial Day Weekend
Our friends from BYU, the Mortley's came to visit us over memorial day weekend. Our little girls were born a few weeks apart and had lots of fun playing together. They are both as cute and sassy as can be. We started out the weekend at Red Rock Casino's Breakfast buffet. Then Amanda and I went shopping at Fashion Show Mall. Friday night we had date night at Firefly.
On memorial day we went swimming at the Flamingo Pool. The girls had a blast playing in the water and going down the slides.

We like playing 'resortist' every now and then by going down to the strip. Makes us feel like we are on vacation.
We had such a fun time with them, we wished we lived closer!
